This introductory course is for professionals who wish to combine training in the key principles of Polyvagal Theory with discussion of how they can apply it to their field. It includes three hours of on-demand lectures by Deb Dana plus a one-hour recorded Q&A session. The main topics of the course include the three organizing principles of polyvagal theory, the vagal brake, the social engagement system, basic befriending skills and becoming polyvagal informed. The Principles and Practice course is very popular for its integration of a theoretical framework with practical application.
